Pada tahun 2020, Lembaga Pengarah menubuhkan program Geran Amal untuk menyelaraskan dengan minat pengasas Yayasan, Richard M. \u201cDick\u201d Fairbanks, dalam membuat geran kecil tanpa had kepada organisasi kecil di mana jumlah ini boleh membuat perbezaan yang ketara. Walaupun sebahagian besar daripada pembiayaan dermawan Yayasan akan terus diperuntukkan kepada tiga bidang tumpuannya iaitu Pendidikan<\/a>, Kesihatan<\/a>, dan juga Daya hidup Indianapolis<\/a>, program Geran Amal membolehkan Yayasan menyediakan geran tahunan dalam jumlah $25,000 setiap penerima kepada senarai berputar sehingga enam (6) organisasi bukan untung. Program ini, yang berkuat kuasa pada 2021, meneruskan sejarah panjang pemberian amal Yayasan. Sejak penubuhannya, Yayasan telah menganugerahkan hampir $9.9 juta dalam bentuk geran amal kecil. <\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n

Begini cara program Geran Amal baharu berfungsi. Setiap tahun, Yayasan mengenal pasti tema pembiayaan berdasarkan keperluan mendesak di Indianapolis. Tema ini membimbing pemilihan enam organisasi Indianapolis yang menangani keperluan ini di bandar kami. Organisasi tidak boleh memohon kepada program Geran Amal dan geran diberikan sekali sahaja.  <\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n

Pada tahun sulung pelaksanaan program ini, Yayasan memberi tumpuan kepada keperluan berikut: (1) gelandangan dan ketidakstabilan perumahan; (2) ketidaksamaan kaum; (3) keadilan jenayah dan kemasukan semula; dan (4) ketidakamanan makanan. Penerima geran 2021 ialah: Kumpulan Indy yang Berkembang<\/a>; Pusat Sambutan Imigran<\/a>; Rangkaian Indy Hunger<\/a>; Pusat Jangkauan Mentor Mackida Loveal & Trip<\/a>; Trinity Haven<\/a>; dan Perkhidmatan Kejiranan Westminster<\/a>. Yayasan berbesar hati untuk menyokong organisasi ini melalui pembiayaan geran sekali sahaja sambil mereka meneruskan kerja yang memberi kesan di Indianapolis. <\/p>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
