L'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 a augment\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on spectaculaire au cours des derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies, devenant l'une des principales causes \u00e9vitables de morbidit\u00e9 et de mortalit\u00e9 aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Au cours des 20 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, les taux d'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 ont augment\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re constante dans l'Indiana, passant de 20 pour cent en 1995 \u00e0 34 pour cent en 2017. Un adulte Hoosier sur trois est ob\u00e8se, et plus de deux sur trois sont en surpoids ou ob\u00e8ses. Le taux d'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 de l'Indiana est le 12e plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 des \u00c9tats-Unis.
