2022 marca o segundo ano do programa de subs\u00eddios de caridade da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Richard M. Fairbanks, que oferece seis subs\u00eddios \u00fanicos \u2013 cada um no valor de $25.000 \u2013 para organiza\u00e7\u00f5es sem fins lucrativos de Indian\u00e1polis com base no tema de financiamento daquele ano.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n

O tema de financiamento para 2022 \u00e9 especialmente oportuno, uma vez que em 2021, Indian\u00e1polis registou o seu ano mais violento de sempre com 249 homic\u00eddios criminosos<\/a>. Este total segue-se a aumentos substanciais em 2020 nos homic\u00eddios envolvidos com armas de fogo, especialmente entre indiv\u00edduos negros, homens e jovens com idades entre os 15 e os 24 anos.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n

A cada ano, a Funda\u00e7\u00e3o escolhe um tema de financiamento com base nas necessidades urgentes de Indian\u00e1polis, e a Funda\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 guiada por esse tema ao selecionar seis organiza\u00e7\u00f5es sem fins lucrativos de Indian\u00e1polis que atendem a essas necessidades urgentes. A Funda\u00e7\u00e3o identifica essas organiza\u00e7\u00f5es por meio de pesquisas e conversas com l\u00edderes municipais e comunit\u00e1rios com experi\u00eancia nas comunidades de Indian\u00e1polis e lideran\u00e7a de bairro. As organiza\u00e7\u00f5es sem fins lucrativos n\u00e3o podem se inscrever no programa Charitable Grants e os subs\u00eddios s\u00e3o concedidos uma \u00fanica vez.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n
