Di tutte le crisi legate alla droga che hanno afflitto gli Stati Uniti, l\u2019epidemia di oppioidi \u00e8 tra le pi\u00f9 mortali della storia, tanto che due anni fa i funzionari eletti l\u2019hanno dichiarata un\u2019emergenza sanitaria pubblica nazionale.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n

\n

Le overdose da farmaci da oppioidi hanno causato la morte di quasi 400.000 persone negli ultimi due decenni (1999-2017), quasi lo stesso numero di militari statunitensi morti durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Solo nel 2017, 47.600 americani hanno perso la vita a causa di questa crisi della droga, e il numero di decessi per overdose ha contribuito al calo dell\u2019aspettativa di vita in America negli ultimi tre anni.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
