Fairbanks Foundation, they&nbsp;worked to create&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecommunity.com\/careers\/behavioral-health\/behavioral-health-academy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Behavioral Health Academy\u2122<\/a>, a talent pipeline that provides students with the necessary&nbsp;training&nbsp;to enter a career&nbsp;in which they are equipped to&nbsp;treat&nbsp;both&nbsp;behavioral health&nbsp;concerns&nbsp;and substance use disorder.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"block wordpress-block wordpress-paragraph core-paragraph\">\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve already seen&nbsp;that the interns going through our Academy and who have graduated feel far more confident working with individuals when they come in with co-occurring disorders,\u201d&nbsp;said George Hurd,&nbsp;Vice President of Behavioral Health Services at CHN.&nbsp;\u201cThey&nbsp;don\u2019t question their skills or their ability.&nbsp;We feel very confident in our Behavioral Health Academy\u2122&nbsp;students that when they graduate, they will be workforce ready to deal with the most complex cases we have.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In its work to address substance use disorder in Central Indiana, Community Health Network identified a critical need to grow the supply of health professionals trained to treat addiction as well as behavioral health conditions.
