Im Jahr 2015 hatte Indiana mit 87,1 Prozent eine der h\u00f6chsten High-School-Abschlussquoten aller US-Bundesstaaten und mit 4,5 Prozentpunkten die geringste L\u00fccke zwischen den Abschl\u00fcssen von Sch\u00fclern aus einkommensschwachen und nicht einkommensschwachen Familien. Dies geschah in einem Bundesstaat, der von 2011 bis 2015 zu den f\u00fcnf Bundesstaaten mit der geringsten Abschlussl\u00fccke zwischen Sch\u00fclern aller Altersgruppen und Sch\u00fclern aus einkommensschwachen Familien geh\u00f6rte und in dem weit \u00fcber ein Drittel aller Sch\u00fcler aus einkommensschwachen Familien stammten. Indiana hat au\u00dferdem f\u00fcr alle Sch\u00fclergruppen eine h\u00f6here Abschlussquote als der nationale Durchschnitt, mit Ausnahme der Sch\u00fcler aus Asien und den pazifischen Inseln. Wir wollten verstehen, was den Fortschritt in Indiana ausmacht, was die 34 anderen Bundesstaaten mit einem Anteil von einkommensschwachen Sch\u00fclern von 50 Prozent oder weniger hiervon lernen k\u00f6nnen und welche Herausforderungen f\u00fcr den Bundesstaat Indiana noch bestehen. Wir stellen au\u00dferdem fest, dass die Fortschritte beim Schlie\u00dfen der Abschlussl\u00fccken in Indiana f\u00fcr einige Sch\u00fclergruppen nicht so gro\u00df waren, da eine betr\u00e4chtliche Anzahl afroamerikanischer Sch\u00fcler, Sch\u00fcler mit Behinderungen und Englischlernender die High School nicht abschlie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
